What can I expect at a session?
You can expect to be pampered! When you arrive, relax with a glass of wine (or soda or water if you prefer) while our stylist brings out your most glamorous look! Choose the outfit of your choice, and we'll begin your photoshoot. Don't worry, we'll help you with the posing ;)
What should I bring to a session?
Please bring whatever you would like that makes you feel sexy! Lingerie, corset, pearls or other jewelry (bring the bling!), stilettos, thigh-highs with a garter belt, etc. Bring something a little sweet and innocent, and something a little more racy... If you are making these for the man in your life, you might want to bring along something of his - dress shirt, tie, uniform, dog tags, or anything of his that you would like. If your shoot is part of an engagement or pre-wedding gift, bring any wedding elements you would like, such as your veil or special wedding jewelry. Also bring your makeup, to include powder for taking off any shine from your skin, and lip gloss. When in doubt, bring it! You may not use everything you bring, but you'll have it if you want it!
What should I wear to the session?
Loose clothing, so that no marks are left on your skin when we photograph. Also, a button down shirt so that when your stylist is done with hair and makeup, you can change more easily. If you're having a makeup stylist, come with a clean face, no makeup.
How much skin will be showing?
That is entirely up to you! Fully covered, partial or implied nude, or artistic nude are all options. But ALL photos will be tasteful, never lewd.
Will my photos be kept private?
Absolutely. All images will be uploaded to a password-protected site for your viewing. I will never post your photos without your permission. You will sign a consent form when you arrive, which protects both the photographer and the client from unauthorized use of images.
Can I bring a friend/spouse/significant other?
Under most circumstances, no. You should be entirely comfortable and focused on the shoot, without having to worry about an audience. Exceptions can be made for friends that are also having a shoot, because they will be in the same situation and the same mindset.
Will my photos be edited?
Yes, they will. Every photo you select will be painstakingly edited, color-corrected and optimized for both print and web. Minor blemishes will be touched up and skin smoothed, but with a light touch. Boudoir photography is glamour photography with a sexy twist!
